My sweet Alaynah is about to turn 13!!! I am certain that I gave birth to her the day before yesterday. So I am in shock about this crazy time warp I must be in!
We will be spending her birthday in Virginia so tonight we had a little celebration with my family to eat Alaynah's favorite - MEXICAN.
For her birthday this year her dad and I bought her a charm bracelet so she could begin to collect charms from all the different countries she visits. To get her started everyone bought her a special charm they thought she'd enjoy.
Her AnnieBell got her a Family Tree!
Her Grandma got her a charm that represented their mutual love for books!
Her Papa got her an owl because she loves them!
Her Mymom & Papa G got her a Tree of Life because they share a love for learning about our family history!
Her Daddy and I got her a Compass because we want her to always remember to follow her moral compass when making decisions and so she can always find her way home, no matter where she is!
Her Nana & Grandpa got her an "A" and a "L"!
Her Oklahoma Grandma (Jason's Grandmother) gave her a key because Alaynah is really into them!
Her Mymom also gave her this Live, Laugh, Love charm!
Her Bo-Bo gave her keys because of the special place she has a key to in his heart!
Her sissy said that she was glad to have Alaynah as her sister!
We will be having the bracelet put together by a local jeweler. I think that this will be the perfect reminder of how many people love and care about her. What a great way to kick off her thirteenth birthday celebration week!
